New podcast: Chris Edwards and gay friendly public spaces

This weekend we are launching our first podcast in English. In this occasion we talked with Chris Edwards. He´s part of the Architecture and the Built Environment team of CABE, the government’s advisor on architecture, urban design and public space. They´re now developing a new interesting project about inclusive design, sexuality and public space.
We experience the built environment differently according to who we are. We have a practical experience of places – they are easy to access and use, for example. We also have a psychological experience of places – they make us feel comfortable and safe, for example. They are places where we fit in and can be ourselves. The practical features of inclusive design are easy to describe; the psychological aspects of inclusive design can be more elusive to pin down.
Chris explains to us what makes a place more likely to be inclusive for lesbians, gay men and bisexual people (LGB) – in both a practical and psychological sense.
Join us in the conversation!!!
